Bioclimatology |

|
|
Bioclimatology, in the life sciences, is the study of the interactions between living organisms and climate. Although the earliest people must have understood the important role of climate in determining the food available to them, bioclimatology is a modern science, not only because climatic conditions were until recently accepted as immutable but because the concept that the plants and animals could significantly affect the climate was not recognized.
